| The "Axle, Wheel and Carriage" museum is a factory museum of the “BPW Bergische Achsen Kommanditgesellschaft”. It takes about 15 minutes by foot from the centre of Wiehl to get there. On the 3,000 sqm exhibition grounds, visitors are introduced to the history of coaches and carriages from the Neolithic period to the era of coaches and to the corporate history of BPW. |

| The temperature at the limestone cave at Wiehl is constant at 8 degrees Celsius. After climbing the 26 steps down, visitors arrive at the foyer, situated about 7 metres below ground. Mostly slender dripstones (stalactites) hang from the cave’s ceiling, while plump stalagmites grown up from the ground. Visitors walk through thick cascades, columns, pillars and other formations with beautiful shapes while glittering, glowing colours impress our vistors. |
